Murphy

My kitten, 'Champagne Charlie Murphy Muffin' is about 6 mths old now. She's Murphy for short. She's been with us since she was 12 weeks old. The day she arrived she was a wee little tot, fitting into the palm of my hand! Absolutely adorable.

Unfortunately the hormons have kicked in - she has managed to embed those little claws into the leather sofa, the tubchair, the bedframe, windows as well as her scratch post. At the moment we are trying to train her on various commands.

She is fascinated by the water flush system in the loo, the barges that pass by, and the mysterious postman.

29th Aug: She's managed to find a way to the shelf,
and parked herself there. Knocked a few of my plants on the way!

12th Sept 2005: Today I did a white wash - bedsheets linen etc. Had to spread dry them between two chairs and M just decided to park herself underneath, she loves light colours and the smell of fresh laundry. I spontaneously took this photo, it reminds me of Baz Luhrmann's film, Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, where Leonardo diCaprio & Claire Danes playful under the sheets. Did you also know there was a DoP who insisted on having big white sheets on his set for shadowless soft lighting?
