Film-Making workshop 2005

WORK PORTFOLIO
Film-Making Workshop

In August I tutored in this week-long Film-Making workshop. The teenagers who participated, were between age 14-19 and lived in the borough of Camden in London.

The documentary entitled 'The Good, the Bad and the Evil of Camden' was filmed with two mini dv cameras interviewing people on the street in two days. The footage will be edited at a later stage once funding comes through. Unfortunately this is the usual state of things with filming in UK. Because the film-making process is dependent on a lot of factors (a lot which are beyond your control), there is more opportunities for things to go wrong. Perhaps this is what the challenge of making films is about ... Orchestrating everything to come together at the right time.
I'll update soon as it's all done. Wish me luck.
