Wassap Gilbert Grape?

Have been a little tied up with a few things, no time to update here so this is a quick post.

Have been market researching and sourcing to open a retail shop with David my new business partner – and if all goes well as planned, it opens in Sept in West London.

Am going to be working with a group of 16 young people on the 2nd issue of the Xpres magazine. This time Rick is working with them on the design, and I am on the photography/photojournalism side. Together we hope to give the magazine a fresh lick of paint and lay the foundations for the editorial team equiped with skills and new eyes and ideas to the next level ... Well, there is that Canon 350D available. Currently firming up the structure to conform to LOCN requirements. This on-off project takes me all the way to early Sept.

A possible quick design job for British Standards due next week. Cover, CDROM splash page and CDROM inlay. Will know more tomorrow. Meanwhile, 'Designing Safe Machinery' sounds very nearly like the first BSI cover I did 'Guidance on the Safe Use of Machinery' ... concept-wise we'll see.
